Trading conditions are the part of the arrangement that is written down rather than quoted: contract size, minimum and maximum order, lot step, how close to the price a stop is allowed to sit. They are fixed by specification and do not move between one session and the next — and together with a currency link that is also fixed, they make up most of what can be known about a trade before it is placed. Read live from FxPro's own MetaTrader 5 Raw+ feed, the specification below sets a 0.01-lot minimum in 0.01-lot steps, 100,000 units per standard lot on an FX major, and no minimum stop distance. What is measured rather than specified — fill time, slippage, the spread — appears in the same tables with the date it was read, and that is the half of the page that changes.

Order rules and account risk

  • Minimum order 0.01 lot and maximum 500 lots, in 0.01-lot steps (0.01 lot = 1,000 units on an FX major).
  • No minimum stop or limit distance (stops level 0) — you can place a stop-loss or take-profit right next to price, which suits scalping and expert advisors.
  • Margin call at 10% and stop-out at 0% margin level, as measured on the Raw+ account — confirm the live levels in your own terminal before risking capital.
  • Contract size 100,000 units per lot on FX majors and 100 oz per lot on gold.

Measured by placing real market orders on the Raw+ account and timing each fill; slippage is the price difference (in points) between the click and the fill, and ‘at price / better / worse’ counts how those fills landed. Small sample (a few round-trips per size) — indicative, last read 2026-06-24.

Instrument universe (measured)

Specification, measurement, arrangement

Numbers on a broker site come in three kinds and age at three different speeds. Specification is published and holds until it is changed: contract size, lot step, minimum and maximum order, the stops level. Measurement is captured and holds until the next capture: spread, fill time, slippage, swap. Arrangement sits behind both — the minimum first deposit of $100, leverage up to 1:200, and, for anyone funding from here, a dirham held at a fixed rate against the dollar.

Sorting a page this way is not pedantry; it tells you what to re-read and when. The specification on this page is worth reading once and keeping. The execution and spread figures carry a date because they are only true as of that date. And the arrangement changes rarely enough that most traders never see it move, which is exactly why it is worth confirming rather than assuming.

What the specification decides about your position size

Contract size and lot step turn an intention into a position. A 0.01-lot minimum in 0.01-lot steps means size is a grid rather than a dial, and 100,000 units per standard lot on an FX major against 100 ounces per lot on gold is why the same phrase — one lot — means very different money on different instruments. The cash value of one tick follows from the contract, not from the price you happen to see.

Put that together with the margin percentage set by leverage, 0.5% at 1:200, and you have enough to size a funding transfer before opening anything; our margin calculator page does the arithmetic and lists the measured contract values it uses. From a dirham balance the last step of that sum is a single multiplication that does not have to be redone later.

What is still open at the moment you click

Three things stay undetermined until the order is actually sent: the spread at that instant, the time the fill takes, and whether the price you get matches the price you clicked. The tables above measure all three across repeated orders, which describes the behaviour you can expect — but a measurement of past fills is a distribution, not a promise about the next one.

Everything after entry has its own page. The spread through the day is on live spreads, the cost of holding past the rollover is on swap rates, and the choice of pricing model that sits under all of it is on spreads and costs. Terms and conditions can change, so confirm the current ones before you trade.

Frequently asked questions

What can I actually know about a trade before placing it?
The specification and the currency side. Contract size, lot step, minimum and maximum order and the absence of a minimum stop distance are fixed terms, and on a dirham-funded dollar account the conversion behind your balance is fixed as well. What stays open is the spread at the moment of entry, the fill itself, and any overnight swap.
What is the minimum and maximum trade size at FxPro?
On the measured Raw+ account the minimum order is 0.01 lot and the maximum is 500 lots, in 0.01-lot steps. One standard lot is 100,000 units on an FX major, so the smallest order is 1,000 units.
Does FxPro have a minimum stop-loss distance?
No. The measured stops level is 0, so a stop-loss or take-profit can be placed right next to the price — useful for scalping and short-term strategies.
How fast does FxPro execute orders?
In our measurements market orders filled with near-zero slippage and no rejects across the tested sizes. The execution table above carries the average and maximum fill time per instrument and order size, with the date of the reading.
How many instruments can I trade at FxPro?
The instrument count is read directly from FxPro's live MT5 server and broken down by asset class in the table above — shares, forex, ETFs, futures, cryptos, metals and spot. Availability of a specific instrument can vary by account and region.
Which conditions change and which do not?
Contract size, lot limits, lot step and the stops level are specification: they hold until FxPro changes them. Fill time, slippage and spread are measurements: they hold until the next reading. The fixed dirham-to-dollar rate belongs with the first group, not the second.
Do trading conditions differ because I fund from the UAE?
The specification is a property of the instrument and the account type, not of where the money comes from. What the location changes is the funding side: a dirham held at a fixed rate against the dollar, plus whatever your own bank charges to send the transfer.
